I wrote this song as part of a songwriting challenge a while back and I had a lot of fun with it. The idea for it came from an article I read about people in the U.S. quitting their bullshit jobs in drones as a result of the pandemic and about the concept of quiet quitting. It inspired me to think about what it must be like to finally have that courage inside you, to take that step with a smile and quit. I hope you listen to it on your way to work with a little smile on your face also, quitting or no quitting.
